Andrea Davila

Andrea attended the University of Michigan, where she double-majored in geology and environmental studies. She completed a thesis on igneous petrology and received her B.S. with Honors in Earth and Environmental Sciences in 2014. After graduation Andrea worked as a research assistant on a NSF project studying biodiversity and biofuel.

Eventually she relocated to Los Angeles and joined the URC – Sciences staff in June 2015. As a Program Representative she coordinates the Amgen Scholars Program, CARE Fellows & Scholars, the CARE SEM Summer Research Program, and the PEERS Program. Andrea is enthusiastic about working with science majors at UCLA given her own background in science and research.

Outside of work Andrea’s passions include sport climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, running, cooking, and public transportation.
