Katie Ingraham

Katie Ingraham is a 6th year PhD student in the Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology program. She currently conducts research on potential treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury in the laboratory of Dr. Patricia Phelps and joined the URC as a graduate student mentor in 2016. Katie feels strongly that undergraduate students should be encouraged to participate in all forms of research and enjoys helping students navigate their way through the process. Through her experiences as a GSM, mentoring several undergraduate students in her lab, and helping students as a TA, Katie intends to pursue a full-time job after graduating in which she hopes to continue to promote undergraduate research.
